Free Tuition plus Stipend for Graduate Students! How Do You Get It?

• Apply before the end of November (even the application form may indicate the deadline as January 1)
• Get noticed from Wesleyan during February – April.
• Answer Wesleyan University by April 15 if you want to accept the admission offer
• “New graduate students who work as teaching assistants receive a stipend September 1 through May 31. Continuing graduate students on a stipend receive payments June 1 through May 31.”

• Financial Package: Free tuition plus stipend (amounts vary due to your major)

English Proficiency

• IBT over 100 or IELTS over 7 is recommended
• Some departments may have lower language requirements

• 9-month stipend for PhD Music = $19,488.37
• 12-month stipend for PhD Music = $25,984.50
