The U.S. State Department just warned Americans traveling to the following countries:
- Mali: Due to ongoing terrorist attacks and criminal violence.
- Jordan: Due to threats from terrorist groups throughout the country. “On December 18, 10 people, including a Canadian tourist and seven Jordanian security and police officers, were killed at or near a tourist site in Karak, 130 km south of Amman.” (Excerpted from travel.state.gov)
- Egypt: Due to terrorist groups.
- The Democratic Republic of the Congo: “There is ongoing instability and sporadic violence in many parts of the DRC.”
